Julius K Beaufort first started making tables for home use in 1892 in a tiny building just outside of Atlanta, GA. Since that time, JKB has grown to include 3 manufacturing plants, a lumber company, and several warehouses to support our growing business. Still headquartered in Atlanta, the company now has operations in California and Minnesota.
JKB continues to be privately held and operated by descendants of Julius. The current CEO, Walter Beaufort, is the great-grandson of the founder.
